Dollar Special City Rate for Orlando early Nov.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I booked my Minivan rental for early November, and discovered that Dollar has a special city promotional rate going on at that time. It looked as though this saved me an extra $25 off the code rate that I had. Also looked as though the rate extended through many of the vehicle types, but not all.

I got a great deal on a minivan with Dollar for my December trip! $215 for a week ($288 with taxes and fees!

What coupons did you use with dollar to get that great of a rate?

No coupon at all! That was the regular price for the week, I could not believe it. I checked again yesterday and the City special to Orlando was even cheaper. SO now, I am getting a minivan for $200 for the week ($272 with taxes and fees)

Sorry to bug you again, but I don't see at all how you are getting that rate. I've tried several different ways and cannot locate the special you are talking about. Help?!!

Also Buzzmom, how many days are you renting for? That might be the difference in price I'm seeing.

I just went to the Dollar web site. What are your dates? I will be there 12/12 - 12/18, so the rental is for 7 days.

My dates are 12/10 - 12/20. I did find the special city rate. Okay, for some reason I was thinking one of your responses said you were getting 7 days for $200 total (including taxes and fees). I was like, WOW - highway robbery LOL!!! Congrats on what is still a very good deal though and thanks for the heads up!!
