Hopefully it will be at parity later this week when I pay off the rest of my trip :cheer2:

Looks like you'll be there around the same time as me. You'll love it down there in November. Not too hot, not too cold, and the crowds are small! Enjoy your trip!

Holy moly!!!

Thinking I'm going to call and pay off my March cruise very soon..... dh says we should watch and wait for another day or so as they think it's going to get 'better then par' - I really hope he gets his bonus in his exec. meeting today too so I can change more to USD

Between this and the fact that I knocked $400 off our non-Disney cruise this week I'm happy dancin!!

Just checked again......$0.9989!!!

Chickkypoo we are going in the beginning of Nov. We are hoping for good weather. In 2005 we went in Dec right before Christmas and the weather was a bit too cool for us that year. (of course the decorations and atmosphere was wonderful!)

i don't get it. how are people able to get a discount on their cruise. everytime i check my date the rate has gon up so i got the bargain for booking early yet i keep seeing that people are getting better rates. how does this happen? any ideas?:flower3:

It was a non-disney cruise - I checked on travelocity.ca and it gave me a past cruiser discount (which we are for Carnival) and the price was $400 less. Called my vacationstogo guy and he adjusted the price for us.

I found you need to check various sites for cruises and some go up as time goes on and some go down or they have sales. Ours for March break just happened to go down by $20 PP for our balcony PLUS he had forgotten to add our past cruiser discount - voila... $400 for us!

The sites I always look at are vacationstogo.com, travelocity.ca and cruiseshipcentres.ca You can also have a look at the 90 day tickers at vacationstogo if you can book last minute as there are always some good deals on there!!
