I had a Disney trip 7/28-8/11 and wanted to post the one fiasco I had with Dollar. I had made an online reservation with them 4 weeks earlier using a mousesavers code for a 2 week full size rental. I walked up to the counter and was asked to see my verification as the attendant could not find me in the system. I whipped out my copy and after a phone call to higher ups, it was deemed that the reservation had been cancelled by ME!
I don't know if that was their excuse or what, but I was told they do not send e-mail verifications for cancellations. They had no rental cars available and offered no solutions to the problem. Make sure you have an active reservation before you leave!
On a brighter note, Magical Express allowed us to board and we rented at Alamo on site later in the week!
My inconvience saved me about 350.00
Disney took a frazzled, panicked mom with 4 kids in tow and made me feel like a queen!
