Dollar has lowered rates...

We were excited to find this out last night. We were able to upgrade to a compact car from an ecomomy car for our stay next week. We originally had the ecomomy car reserved with the FISH code. We called Dollar last night and found that their rates have decreased, and we could get a cheaper rate without a code. In fact, the compact was cheaper than the economy. We are paying a total of $107 for 4 days.

We actually had a reservation with Dollar for our stay in FL, Nov. 22 - Dec. 2. However, after reading on the MouseSavers site about the National offer, I was able to get a full-size car for the same period for just $30 more, taxes included, than a compact would have cost me thru Dollar. I love Dollar and I've rented with them numerous times. But I also like my comfort, so this was a no-brainer. I guess the Disney Club IS good for something afterall

PS- Try the CARD code too at Dollar. Sometimes it gives you a much better rate than the FISH code

THANKS FOR THE INFO IT WAS GREAT ....

We had an economy car reserved with Dollar using the FVG code....BUT thanks to your advice I went back and checked tonight and I got an upgrade of a compact for the same price as the economy was on with the FVG code on my reservation. Needless to say I modified my reservation, did that right on line removed the code and got the better rate on the bigger car....I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that advice....thanks again..
