Dollar Coins

Does anyone know if the washing machines,dryers or any other vending type machines take the dollar coins or quarters only? Just wondering if I should bring the dollar coins - less change floating around in my bags. Thanks for your input - have a great day.

I think I remember most of the washing machines taking just quarters. They usually have change machines in the laundry room. I'm not sure about vending machines but I kind of doubt it.
