Dollar cars

Does anyone know how much luggage you can get into an intermediate car from Dollar. We booked ours through our travel agents and it was free (insurance wasnt) but we don't think its going to be big enough for 2 large suitacases and one small one. Can anyone advise please or even suggest the best car that we could upgrade to, to accommodate our luggage?

Having just returned,I had an F4 car from Dollar,a Ford Tauras.Previously I have had a Dodge Intrepid also an F4.These easily seated two adults in the back.Four normal sized suitcases fitted in the boot with room for small rucsacs as well.I would have thought you will be okay.I suppose it all depends on what size a large suitcase is and the shape nowadays.

We are a family of 4,(2A&2C)
We were given the Dodge I4 with our package,it wasnt big enough,we took out with us 4 cases plus our hand luggage.
We upgraded to the Ford Tauras,we were able to fit in 3 cases in the trunk(2 large 1 small),the forth case and the hand luggage had to go on the back seat with the children.
If there are only 2 of you and you dont mind putting anything on the back seat then the I4 should be fine,i dont think you would fit everything in the trunk
The Ford Taurus is a nicer car.

Thanks. As there are 4 of us, an upgrade sounds likely. Do you know what the cost is to upgrade a car?

I cant remember,but it wasnt a huge amount,If you booked with travel agents pop in and ask them to give you a quote,if not wait until you get to the airport in Florida they were really helpful,they help you with your cases and load the car up for you (for a few $$)

Theres four of you so you will need to upgrade,dont forget you are most likely to come back home with more than you took out,you might even need an extra case

Thanks for that. I did ask at my travel agents and they quoted me around £90 for a full size car and £187 for an MPV, so a friend advised me to wait til we got to Florida to upgrade the car. Think thats what we'll do.

Would you have fitted two cases into this car? We had a full size this year and it was way to big, an Impala, so we just got an I4 for next year.

We could fit 1 large and one of the smaller ones in.
You should be fine.
