Dollar car rental price frustration/question

So I am a bit frustrated right now. I am trying to book a car rental for a trip I have in September. I am planning on getting the car at 1030am on 9/22 and then return it at 5pm on 9/26. My frustration comes in the price that it is costing me to keep it an extra 7 hours. If I return it by noon on 9/26 it is going to cost $164. To keep it the extra 5 hours it changes the rate to $425. When I called to see why the big difference I was told that it is changing from the weekend rate to the weekly rate. The person I spoke to suggested that I book as if I am returning by noon on 9/26 and then pay the extra hours fee. So my question is does anyone know what the hourly rate would be at Dollar in Orlando? I have tried calling to find out but they keep saying to check when we get in. I just don't want to wait and find out the fees are outragous.

You don't state what size car you are tryng to rent or what your pick up and drop off locations are, so I will assume a midsize and MCO

Don't know what the Dollar hourly rates are, but you can get a midsize from Alamo for your dates and times for $194.78 incl taxes and fees using Costco discount codes available from carrentalsavers.com

I don't know why you're frustrated. You no longer qualify for the weekend rate. Dollar isn't offering a good rate for the time period you want to rent a car.

Just book a different agency. Simple.
