Dollar car hire?

Another last minute paranoid question!!!

Our tickets from virgin say to collect car from Dollar Disney - is this different from Dollar as in the regular car hire people at the airport!!??

Usually you collect straight off the plane at the airport.

Have you asked for an airport transfer and later pickup ?

If you havent then it will be the airport.

I have not seen Dollar Disney printed b4.

No - i hadn't until the itinery arrived from Virgin and they called wrote - collect car from Dollar Disney....? I'm figuring and hoping that it's the Dollar depot at the airport. Probably is.... i'll let you all know when I return.

I would call Virgin to check. All the major rental companies have depots on WDW property (at the Car Care Center just past the MK toll booths).

Virgin have a dedicated Dollar desk at Orlando International Airport. If you have booked a package with Virgin (either a holiday or a fly-drive) you will usually pick up from that desk. We normally book flights and car hire separately and thus use the regular Dollar desk at the airport. The last couple of times we have used Virgin Travelstore to book both and to look at our confirmation, you wouldn't necessarily realise that they were separate bookings, so you need to be clear to avoid confusion at the airport.

I would have thought Dollar Disney meant the depot at Lake Buena Vista/Crossroads.

Check if they have arranged a transfer to Disney for you

Thanks everyone - I'm back. It meant the Dollar line at the Depot... virgin had a separate line to check in with when you arrived!
