I love Dole Whip:banana::banana:

I know I can get them in MK, is there anywhere else in the world you can get a Dole Whip?

I think you can get them at the Polynesian resort.

I wish you could get them everywhere, hubby wants to go to the MK all 7 days of our trip just because of the whips.

I wouldn't know anything about Dole Whips. The one time I tried to get one, my husband wouldn't stop because it wasn't on the schedule! :confused3

Captain Cook's counter service at the Polynesian has them.

That's crazy talk! I love Dole Whip! Put it on your next schedule. :lmao:

How about making them at home
DOLE WHIP (VERSION 1)

1 quart Dole pineapple juice
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups heavy whipping cream
3 cups sugar
Milk

Mix the pineapple juice and sugar, making sure that the sugar is dissolved.
Next add the cream and vanilla.
Pour the whole mixture into a 4-quart ice cream maker.
Add milk to finish, filling to the fill line.
At this point simply follow the instructions on your ice cream maker.
When the ice cream is ready you can serve it as is or you can stick it in the freezer for a while and let it set up a bit.

DOLE WHIP (VERSION 2)

Prep: 10 min.
Freeze: 3 hrs.
Makes: 8 servings

Ingredients:

2 cans (20 oz. each) DOLE Crushed
Pineapple
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped

Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons
juice. Set aside.

Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice,
sugar and reserved pineapple juice in
blender or food processor container. Cover;
blend until smooth.

Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags.
Store bags flat in freezer. Freeze about 1-
1/2 hours or until slushy.

Stir gently pineapple slush into whipped
cream until just blended, in large bowl.
Return to freezer until completely frozen,
about 1 hour. Serve.

I truly believe that Dole Whips (or for me a Dole Whip Float) should be part of any schedule. We don't go on vacation with a schedule, but if we did there would be a Dole Whipe Float break! YUMMMMM
And the at home recipe is yummy when you can't be there (we have made it a coup0le times), but the at the park one, there is nothing like it!

I wish I could use your recipie, but I am VERY lactose intollerant and heavy whipping cream and I would not be a good combination. Did you know that Dole Whips are non dairy? I've seen the ingredient list. Might not be okay for someone with a milk allergy but fine for us lactose intollerant people. Just don't get the float.

The Dole Whip but not the Dole whip float is at Capt'n Cooks at Poly, this is self serve.

We just got back from the World yesterday and we finally had a whip. Pretty good I must say. I actually got the citrus whip which reminded me of a dreamsicle.

Funny story: My husband mapped out our ADRs and the EMHs and such on an excel spreadsheet for our last trip. He had heard me talk so much about Mickey Head ice creams that every day at 2:00 he had scheduled in a Mickey ice cream break. It was too cute. :lovestruc

I love Dole whips. I have gotten them at Disneyland too, duh. And then at the Dole plantation in Oahu, Hawaii. And they said that they also have them in MAui at a Dole store there. Man, I love Dole Whips:love:
