Dole whip

You can get them from Aloha Isle, in Adventureland, in the Magic Kingdom. They are wonderful!!! :thumbsup2

Mmmmm, could just eat one now :cloud9:

We tried the dole whip floats for the first time this year and we were hooked. Cold pineapple juice topped with pineapple icecream - just the ticket for a hot sunny day - oohh my mouth is watering just thinking about it

Great for me as they are Lactose free :)

Wonder if they are included in the snacks on DDP???

you can get vanilla, chocolate and swirl.

Some other DISers have reported getting them with their snack credit

Love Dole Whips ~ Have to have one everytime I am in the MK :)

We was in MK sometime from 7-29-06 to 8-10-06 and finally found the place to get Dole Whips but was unsure just how to ask for them when the girl started to make them I asked if I was ordering the right thing and of course I hadn't so she made the right thing for us which should of costed more but she just took the money I had paid for the cheaper item I had asked for in the first place, I did insist to pay the difference but she refused my offer. They are to die for and have tried to make them here in England but can't seem to come up with the right mixture, guess we will just have to go back next year and pay better attention to how they were made or ask how they are made. Unless anyone on here can give advice, plllllllllllllleeeeeeeeezzzzzzze Help us. :dance3: :wave2: :stir: :thumbsup2

I've found a recipe on another site but can't comment on how good it is because I don't really know what you're all on about!!

1 litre Dole pineapple juice
3 cups sugar

Mix together until sugar is dissolved :stir:

Add 4 cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mix well and refrigerate for a couple of hours. :coffee:

Finally freeze. (recipe says in an ice cream maker)

I'm going to have to try one of these when I'm over there.

Don't think that is the recipe for a Dole Whip. The only reason I say that is it is Lactose free and Cream is loaded with Lactose :( unfortunately for me.

Sounds good though.

Sorry, The recipe was from some bloke who claims that it's the closest you'll get in a kitchen!

He did point out that it wasn't lactose free :thumbsup2

PS. He also listed the actual ingredients of a Dole Whip. All sorts of emulsifiers, preservatives and such
