Dole Whip Dilema....

One thing I will never understand is why people will wait in a line of 30 people for Dole Whip, when you can enter the waiting area for the tiki room, and usually walk right up to the other side of the counter. And then just leave the tiki room wait area, if you don't want to see the show.

Anyone else ever wonder this? Why the cast members never tell people there are 2 sides.

I usually go to the inside line when the outside one is too crazy. Plus, I like the fact that they don't tell ppl that there's 2 lines. It makes a shorter line for me! :goodvibes Plus, when the waiting area gets crowded, it looks like there's a million ppl in there, so ppl waiting for the Dole whips assume that the other side is long too. Either that or they don't want to be in the big crowd of ppl.

Stop telling our secrets! LOL We always go inside too, they alternate taking orders from both sides but really, they need to have 2 people in there taking orders and filling them. One for each side. :) Mmmmm Dole Whip......

I wait on the other side also, but the since the price increase...

Funny Story! I once waited in line for The Dole Whip thinking i was in line for the Tiki Room. When i finally got to the front after twenty minutes, i realized what was wrong, but i missed the show :(

Its like a Pineapple Whipped Desert. So good. You can also get a Dole Whip Float. They pour a glass of Pineapple Juice and then put some Dole Whip on top.

OK..when I was there on the 105 degree day in May the line was super long outside (naturally) so I went inside to get one, but it was long too..and then..I couldn't figure out how to leave without seeing the show! I ended up having to climb over the entrance turnstile..not pretty! Where is the exit if you don't want to see the show? (the lines may not be long in January, but one never knows and I need to be prepared).

No need to climb over the turnstile, just open the little gate for strollers/wheelchairs and you're good. :)
