Dole Whip at Polynesian

Hi! Just wondering....how in the world do I get a dole whip when I'm coming from another hotel? What are the hours of the self serve dole whip?....we want one after dinner. Thanks!

Hours look to be 10am to midnight. Take the monorail to Poly and go down to the first floor. Pineapple Lanai is outside -- out the back doors of the lobby. Yumm!

Thank you!!! We are going in September and making a budget...do you think they will have the same hours? Also, I haven't been to DW in a while...so how do I get to the monorail? I'm driving from Bonnett. Sorry for all the 20 questions! lol....and you helped me with another question I had....can I use the monorail without going into a park.

If the Poly's parking lot is not busy, the guard may let you park for a couple of hours to explore the resort and eat. Just tell the guard you want to check out the resort and eat at the quick service restaurant. Otherwise, you can park at the TTC, the parking lot for MK, and take the resort monorail to the Poly. And yes, anyone can take Disney transportation and not enter a park. Many like to ride the monorail the full loop, and not get off at MK. Enjoy!

The Pineapple Lanai hours can vary. Last September when we stayed there they were closing at 10 or 10:30pm.

You can also take a boat. We take the one from MK to Poly just for Dole Whip floats with TWIST, since they got rid of the twist at the parks

They also sell a Spikey Pineapple on the Trader Sam's Terrace. It's basically a dole whip with booze. Just want to throw that one out there. Last time I stayed at the Poly the Pineapple Lanai was open from 10am till midnight.

Yep! I was going to say the same. My kids were so disappointed when they heard. They wanted to go to Captain Cook's on our arrival night for dinner and self-serve Dole whip.

You can also park at the TTC and take the Polynesian walkway directly onto the resort grounds, they are adjacent.
