Now for the ladies (and maybe some guys) who are familiar with that brand name, may wonder why the heck I would make a post about that, LOL. If you don't know what it is (I did not until about 10 minutes ago, never heard of it), it is a perfume.

Natalie was getting ready to go out and walked by the room here. I got a whiff, really liked the scent and asked her what it was. She told me that name, I had to ask her about 5 times to repeat it, LOL, and then finally to say it slowly, could not understand it, having never heard of it before, sounded like she was talking Italian or Spanish to me (maybe it is).

And I do know scents vary with individuals, both how it smells to another as well as the scent itself on different people can smell different, some may think it stinks, others may like it. Anyhow, I like the scent, smells nice. Natalie had a big smile on her face, dad liked her perfume. :goodvibes

I have never smelled Light blue....I use Feminie.
I love there perfumes

You know, I just realized that some of my favorite perfumes/colognes have colors in their names:

G&B Light Blue

Blue by Ralph Lauren
Pink by Victoria's Secret
So Pink by GAP
Drakkar Noir (Black)
Black by Kenneth Cole...
Red Door by Elizabeth Arden

But, I don't like White Diamonds or White Linen!

You have good taste! I love that perfume too. It has a very fresh citrus fragrance. It always reminds me of Florida grapefruit. Not that I smell like a piece of fruit when I wear it, it's citrus in a good way :goodvibes .

I used a big bottle of it about a year ago but am now wearing Chanel Chance.

One of the kids in my class gave me an end of year gift in June and it included a miniature bottle of Light Blue! So I've been wearing it this summer.

You may tell Natalie that the DISers approve :flower:

It is very distinctive isn't it!!! I asked for it this past Christmas and I now have enough to last me a lifetime. My daughter loves it as well.

I am very sensitive to perfume (migraines) but would love to find a citrusy one....I will try to find it at Macys tomorrow. Thanks for the tip, Dan!

I Looooooove that perfume! It's one of my favorites.

I like wearing mens cologne best.

I'm allergic to the chemicals that create the flower scents (example--not allergic to roses, but anything that is scented rose). Tough to find a good one. I can do "some" floral scents--but they have to be very minor.

I think I might try a new one--my friend was wearing it the other night and it smelled "cologne" like--but it is for women. I forget the name :(.

So any flowers in D&G Blue?

Sorry Lisa...looks like this one will be a no-no for you:

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette Spray

An astonishing fragrance that evokes the spirit of Italy…the infinite sky, the deep sea and lighthearted joy. Notes of Granny Smith apple, Sicilian citron, bamboo, jasmine, white rose, amber and musk combine to create a scent that’s feminine, deep and true.

• By Dolce & Gabbana; made in Italy.

The Dolce & Gabbana Red is nice too. Just don't make the same mistake my DH made when he went to buy me the Dolce & Gabbana Red. He figured all the D & G's are the same, and he ended up buying me the D & G men's cologne. :rolleyes2

Dan, I thought you had your fingers on the wrong keys. :)

Perhaps after all the kids go to college and get good jobs and support me, like I've been teaching them since they were little ;), they'll buy me some nice perfume. My current scent is "Coast" altho I do have a collection of scent samples from "Real Simple" magazine...for special occasions. :teeth:

Always nice to get a compliment from dad. :goodvibes

Awwwwww Dan, noticing Natalie's perfume and then asking her about it.....priceless. What a dad.... :goodvibes

I'll have to check it out!

Thanks Dan, you've given me reason to venture to the perfume counters.

I can't handle synthetic floral scents unless it's a very small part of the fragrance. Typically, I'll go for any citrusy scents, but most of what I own is from Body Shop or Bath and Body Works.

Dan!

Light Blue is a nice scent. Their original D&G is a favorite of mine also but better for the Fall/Winter.
