We're leaving for DW on Wednesday...hopefully. We're in NYC and bracing ourselves for hurricae Irene. ugh! I'm super excited we're going to the world, but so stressed out about this impending hurricane that I can't even enjoy the anticipation of our trip. Let's hope Newark airport is still intact for our flight on Wednesday! =)

I am sure by Wednesday everything should be back to normal. This weekend is another story! We originally had a flight out of JFK on Sunday at 6pm. I called at the beginning of the week and was able to change the flight to 8:30am today. I just checked the Delta website and it seems all flights out of NY after 1pm today have been canceled right thru to Monday morning. I am praying that we make it out this morning.

Have a great time on your trip! I will keep my fingers crossed that you get out ok on Wed. As I said, by then I am sure you should be fine.

Thankfully, we were not effected by hurricane Irene at all. No leaks, floods, power outages etc. Looks like it's a go for Wednesday!
