Has anyone gone and for some reason do very little compared to everything?

My itinerary at WDW is very loose. The only thing "inked" is a PS and MVMCP on Dec. 5th.

I'm only going to be there for six nights. Sounds lengthy but the scale of WDW, I know everything can't be seen.

Anyway, I'm not going to be the type and get up at 6am and rush to the parks til closing. I'll get up when I do have breakfast at some point then hit the parks.

Even at the parks I'm estimating only doing a third to half of what's there. I'm going solo so there are no kids to take to the smaller rides and I don't care for the fast rides.

I'm also planning on going to some resorts and browse.

Sorry, I'm blabbing, rephrasing the earlier question: Has anyone gone to WDW and seem to do very little and still be pleased with the trip?

I just don't feel like rushing around. I want to go at a nice leasure pace.

Any comments?

It's a vacation ... It's your time to relax and do whatever you want to. My personal philosophy is that, if at the end of your vacation, you feel relaxed, then it was worth it, no matter how much or how little you did.

Last April, we spent as much time at the resorts as at the parks. We got up when we felt like it, caught a leisurely breakfast, and wandered over to the parks when we were good and ready. And, this was the week after Easter when it was crowded. We did have to wait in line for things, we didn't see everything WDW has to offer (and didn't plan to), but we did have fairly a relaxing vacation. I refuse to be one of those family's where the parents are bickering, the kids are cranky, crying and overtired, and don't seem to be having a good time at all because they got up at the crack of dawn after closing down the park the night before. And I might add we do have an 11 year old with us. He's learned this is our style and it works for him also.

Also, I didn't make a lot of PS's beforehand but still ate well and had several sit down meals. I called Kona cafe a few hours before we decided to eat there and we got in at about 8PM. Same thing for Concourse Steakhouse.

I suspect WDW will be there many more years to come, probably longer than I'll be around. We'll be back again (in fact in December for an overnighter in between cruises).
