We have another front coming through today and it sure is nice being able to get on the treadmill and not worry about the weather. We have been doing our long runs outside and so far the weather has cooperated. I will be praying hard for race day to be dry. Have any of you had to run in rain and do you do anything different to handle the wet?
This weekend will be a five mile run. It is supposed to be cold, I can handle that okay. Is anyone going early? We are arriving Sunday before so we can spend some time in the parks. I haven't made all of our ADRs because we can't decide about the dining plan. Fun decisions at least.

It was pretty warm out and the rain was kind of nice. The only thing I did differently was to put my cell phone and ipod in plastic bags so they wouldn't get ruined. I expected blisters, but didn't have any problems with my feet.
My dh and boys were there too and we were all soaked and trying to get into our van. It was crazy. But the running itself in the rain was fine actually.
Good luck on your 5K. Tell DS 10 good luck too. I don't think my DD would be up for a 5K though she does run a speedier mile than I do
I'll try to pop on here midday and tell you how our race went.

but for now - here are some of my route pictures - across the street is the town park - (I didnt notice my dd messed with my setting until the run was almost over!
I'll just stick to the treadmill if its that bad - but our winters havent been that cold, or snowy - this year is going to prove differently I have a feeling!!
