At this point, you should have at least gotten your excursion list. We're on the 2/28 cruise and excursion ressies have already been made for us! We received our excursion docs at about day 64 to go to the cruise.

Got ours and my sisters this afternoon... I wish I could describe the excitement it is just mind boggling that it is finally here..

My counter started at like 160 days and now only down to thirty something..

Do you suppose that we haven't received our documents yet because we are using DVC points for three of the fares? I didn't realize going through DVC made a difference. We are using my parents' points, so I have no idea when they get released.

We received about 8" of snow so far today and driving is very difficult. So maybe the UPS driver wasn't able to deliver our documents today.

I am trying to come up with reasons why our documents haven't arrived! My feet are itching to do the document dance!

Hi All
DMIL received their documents yesterday but none for the rest of us. :0( Not sure if they will be going to the TA or us. Called the TA and she INSISTED they weren't coming from DCL until the end of the month. Won't she be eating crow? I went by MIL's last night to show her what to check and she had no info on the trip insurance. Called DCL and the rep said it should have come with the request for the final payment?? What if the trip was paid in full at the time of booking? I will again have to call my TA today as we did not get ours either. On the other hand, when I called her to tell her excursion docs should be arriving back in Nov. She said she had them and were holding them to send with the final documents closer to cruise time. I straightened her out on that one!

Gayl, hopefully we will be dancing with the rest before the weekend.

We never got anything for excursions at all. However, we looked online for the list prior to reaching the 60 Day point and called in our requests on day 60.

We received our first choice on everything we chose.

You can do the same if you haven't booked excursions yet and are within 60 days of sailing.

That's actually what I did. I was able to get first choices also. I must admit, I completed my excursion transactions at 8:07am on Dec 23. And had our whole group make their calls before 9am too!

I'm sure it was the snow holding up your docs. I will try and talk to my FIL today about when they release points and when they send out docs. Anyway, we don't want you dancin' in your snow shoes

WOO HOO!! My sweet, wonderful TA just called me to tell me my docs just walked in the door there!! Since I can't get there before they close, she is going to Airborne them to me here at work and I'll have them tomorrow. She knows I would go nuts having to wait all weekend.

Now it's real, now it's real, now it's real!!

If anyone needs me, I'll just be at the airport, waiting to leave... LOL

booked directly with DCL and no doc's yet, did receive call 30 days ago with flight info, and excursion info.

Last year and the year before we booked thru DU and had an awful time getting our documents.
Last year they did not show until the week before departure.

I had sent e-mail to DCL and DU and never got a reply from DCL on the rhyme or reason for when and how they mail out documents.

When I re-booked for this year, I went direct thru DCL.

So glad the problem of delayed documents was fixed, just wish someone would own up to what the problems were.

No, we just have a lot of quiet people who don't post a lot, Dave. Heck, we have 12 of us -- 3 families -- at one dinner table alone! I know we have more than 20 people total.

And if anyone is interested, according to DCL today, our cruise is "not quite full, but getting close to that."

Yay, it's Friday and quitting time!! Woo hoo!!
