I have 3 days off so I had told DH let's take out the tree in front and replace it with a dwarf cherry willow the July 4 th holiday. He said hmmmm. Well today in IL the temp is 71 for the high, so last nite he said to the family lets do it tomorrow. We were to pick up the tree tomorrow but the temp is so good we are going to get it today and finish the job. DS got to use an axe for the first time to help remove the roots. The kids and I get the job of cleaning up the rock and putting it back. But hey DH is digging the hole.
DH also has a farm that needed two smallish trees removed, half dead and rubbing on the building. So he roped us into help him do that job today, I announced as an offering we would accept a disney meal for payment, I do believe he is going for it. Woo who I graciously even offered he and the kids could pick that meal.
