Doing MK DAH - so which FP+'s should I get?

FP day is quickly approaching this week. Trip is a fast couple day stay before a DCL cruise. Two park days. Brief itinerary:

Arrival day - no parks
Day 1 - MK, evening After Fireworks Dessert Party
Day 2 - AK, evening DAH back at MK
Depart for cruise

Signing up for the MK DAH took some of the pressure off to see everything at MK in one day (which is impossible), since most DAH reports say that we'll get to hit all of the major attractions with little wait times.

Advice as to what to use FP+ for on day 1? I'm planning to use FP+ on day 2 for AK attractions, even though I know there's little hope to get FOP that early in a trip.

I’d probably FP 7DMT and PP on your Day 1 since those are two rides that are generally not walk-ons during the bulk of DAH, especially 7DMT. An honorable mention would maybe go to Speedway too, in my opinion.... slow loader and they only run one side/take a lot of cars out of service during DAH.

May want to also FP Splash if you’d rather ride during the day as to not potentially be wet (and maybe cold depending on the time of year) during DAH.

Just my initial thoughts.

I would recommend knocking out the longer attractions like Speedway, HM, POTC, JC, and maybe even SM. You have to factor in how long it takes to walk through the queue, ride the ride, then exit. Even though PP and 7DMT aren't necessarily walk ons for most of DAH, you can still ride them with a very short wait and I would argue it would still be faster than HM with no wait, for example. You can google the length of each attraction and use that as an indicator. Also figure in facts like how long it takes to exit SM. Even if you walk on it will probably take 10-15 minutes by the time you walk the queue, ride the coaster, then walk the long exit.
Also, you can get in line to ride 7DMT right before DAH ends and you will still get to ride.
