we leave on the 16th of this month for our 7 night holiday to paris.
i will be around 18 weeks pregnant when we go.
we plan to spend four days in disneyland while we are there.
i know there is certain rides that i wont be able to do:sad2: .does anyone have any tips or advice on doing disney when pregnant?

I haven't done DLP but I did go to WDW when I was 9 weeks pregnant. I avoided all of the 'big' rides and all of the spinny things. I can't remember what they have in DLP, it has been such a long time since I went.

My advice is to keep hydrated and rest. Do lots of the show's etc :) and mainly soak up the atmosphere :)

Kaylee's advice is worth listening to, especially as the early days in a pregnancy is when you should take most care :)

Here is Advice and Restrictions information from the official site.

It reads to me that you wanted advice on doing disney when pregnant :confused3

If you want to post another thread on the UK Community Board about generally being pregnant then please do so, we have a couple of pregnant ladies who post regulary on there :)

I was there when I was 19-20 weeks pregnant & to tell you the truth it wasn't too much different. The only rides I really missed doing were POTC & Star Tours. Halfway through the week my bump got much bigger overnight so I found it was then uncomfortable on rides with a bar to hold you in eg Peter Pan, Casey Junior, so I had to give them a miss. I don't go on the rollercoasters anyway. However, it wasn't my first child, so I got bigger earlier, so maybe you'll be OK. I found that I had enough energy that week to keep going - maybe it was the disney magic! There's loads of shows and gentler rides there too and Christmas season is just lovely at DLRP.
Enjoy your trip & your birthday.

I did DLRP when I was 5mths gone ! Didn,t do rollercoasters of cause and there is a sign outside star tours saying you should,t ride if pregnant .But I had a wonderful time my daughter is now 10 and disney mad and I always kid her saying it was her first holiday in DLRP ,they say babies can hear music in the womb so dont be suprized if baby comes out singing its a small world!:lmao:

Hi,

I did DLRP 3 times when I was pregnant this year (in May, in June and in July - baby is due on November 8th!:yay: ). In addition to what the others have already said - just relax and take it easy. Do some of the shows, enjoy the parades and do a lot of shopping ;) . They have so cute baby stuff there - be sure to have one at your side to carry the packages ;) .

Disneyland is a lot of fun - even you're not able to do the rides!

Enjoy it and good luck for the pregnancy!

Regards,
Winterfee
