I just found your PTR on a link from another post. I noticed you are going right before we go! I have 3 kids (11, 9, 6). They have all been before but this trip was a big surprise. We told them a few weeks ago. I thought my 6 yo would be the most excited because she has been begging to go back everytime we watch a Disney movie and see the castle in the beginning. However, my 11 yo is super over the top excited. I would say your 10 yo just has no idea what to expect.

My kids love the characters even though here at home, they would be (at least the two oldest) wayyy too cool for characters. Hopefully your dds will both get into the spirit. If not, there is still plenty to do and see. If you find out that your dds are annoyed or "too cool" for the characters, you might want to forgo some of your character meals for something a little more "grown-up". You can easily make those changes once you get down there and see how they do with Chef Mickeys. 50s Prime Time and Sci Fi Drive in are both really fun atmosphere places with no characters.

I love the Vera bag you picked out even though I see that you ended up changing your mind. I love Vera though. I don't tend to carry it everyday but love their stuff for vacations because it is so lightweight. This will be our first trip without a stroller so I was looking for something that can fit our autograph book, my big camera (because I have decided I really want to carry it this year) and a few other odds and ends. I went to a local store armed with my gear and tried several different bags. I am sure the women working thought I was a nut case But I wanted to make sure that everything would fit. I also wanted to make sure it would be comfortable on my shoulder. This is what I ended up with:

The pattern is retired so it was 40% off at the store. I am not sure how much I will carry it day to day around here so I went for the discontinued pattern - and of a course a matching wallet!

I LOVE your binder you started. How did you make those title pages? Do you have a program with that clip art or did you just find it on the internet? My kids would love to have something like that!
