Doing a split stay with perishable items question

We've done split stays many times, but never with perishable items. Before I place my grocery order, has anyone done a split stay and transferred perishable items to their next resort? Will bell services even do this? I'm assuming there's no way they could guarantee cold items would be kept cold until they're moved, and no guarantee the receiving resort would keep the cold items cold. Anyone have any experience with this?

Bell Services at the deluxe resorts will do it, and I'll bet it's possible at the mods and values too. Just pack up the food into bags and label clearly what needs to go in the fridge and what needs to be frozen. You can call Bell Services to come pick it up (be sure to tip as you would if they picked up luggage too), or you can bring it down to them. I'm not sure whether you can call or have to bring items down yourself at the mods/values.

Thank you! I've done split stays from the mods to deluxe in the past, and bell services will come pick up luggage at the room. I've just never transferred perishables, so didn't know how that would work.

You'll need to separate and label the bags the items are in so the ones needing refrigeration are separate from the ones needing a freezer.
 
We have done it many times and they refrigerate anything you want. You just have to tell them when they come to get your bags. We never had a problem.
 
Last Dec we did a split stay between CBR and AKL. We put our perishables in a separate bag(kept from Garden Grocer delivery) and labeled as perishable. Bell services picked up our luggage and groceries--I made a point of showing which bag needed fridge--and I tipped generously. Later that evening, we checked in at AKL and went to bell services to retrieve our groceries--and the perishables were warm!! I pointed out that the bag was very clearly labeled and they were very apologetic and offered to replace spoiled items. We didn't receive them until the next am--but they replaced partially used items with new larger size items. It was a mistake--but they were very good about making it right.
