We started out this year with an average size spring break vacation (April 22-29). We planned on staying at POFQ, doing the dining plan (or our version of it), with a 4 day military pass. After looking at finances and spreadsheets of vacation costs, we decided it wasn't the right thing to do (yes, I actually cried).
We then decided to go through Armed Forces Vacation Club and booked a 2br condo at Wyndham Cypress Palms (to the tune of $349 for the week...gotta love military perks!). We were going to do a day at Sea World (free admission), one day at Legoland (free kids tickets), and two days at Universal/IOA. Everyone was happy with that plan until my 7yo dd, who was very excited about WWOHP, looked at the rides and realized her 4 yo brother wouldn't have much to ride. Her mama's heart sang and I brought up Disney once more. It was her decision to do Disney again so that her brother could ride more rides. YAY!!! So we're still staying in the condo (first time off-site) but doing one day at Seaworld and 4 at WDW. My inlaws also decided to meet us there.
Fast forward to this past weekend. I was browsing the DIS and saw a post about the Girl Scouts 100 Year Anniversary Event at Epcot. You just can't beat those prices (except military tickets which we will have already used). Soooooo, we get home from the spring break trip on April 29 and will head back to WDW on May 24th. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I'm absolutely LOVING IT! I just had to share my joy with the people that understand my mentality!
