One day, when E has children of his own and he starts telling you about their latest self-inflicted "adventure", just pull out this pic to show him proof.

Earlier today, I was commiserating with my stylist and her friend about our 13 yr. olds. What a conversation that was! Last week, my 13 yr. old told me that "technology does the laundry in our house". Trust me, I had to restrain myself. This all came about after I told him (for the bazillion time) that we all have to do things that we don't enjoy doing. I brought up doing laundry being one of those things for me, but I still do it. That's when he made the technology does the laundry comment. I told him that technology can do his laundry from now on. I guess that as long as I'm not down by the river, beating the clothes with rocks or whatever they did in those days, he considers it an effortless task.
