Well, E just shaved part of his eyebrow off. We have this finishing touch groomer and this morning I shaped my eyebrows with it. Stupid me left it sitting on the hallway table. I heard it start to buzz and looked to my right (note, he was sitting right next to me) and took it to his eyebrow before I could stop him. I would have been more careful if it was something that could have harmed him but it is like a tiny little electric groomer and couldn't hurt you if you tried.

He has a strip going through the middle of his eyebrow. He looks like Vanilla Ice. Oh well, not as bad as when his big sister tried to cut his hair. If I get these kids to 18 it will be a miracle.

The funny thing is, I've tried to use it before on him just to trim his sideburns and he won't let me. He screams and says it scares him then yells "Shave your own hair mommy, shave your own hair".

That is too funny! I shaved my arms and legs one night when I took a bath when I was six or seven. Man do I regret that. I remember wearing only pants and long sleeve shirts to hide it from my parents but they found out anyway. lol Please post pics!!

I took pictures but I'm trying to find my card reader. He took off with it apparently and just left the cord. When I find that, I will post. I've even checked his "stash" where he puts all of his treasures and it isn't there. I'll need to check under the couch but it is too heavy for me to lift on my own.

When I was in high school I put my mother's Neet in between my eyebrows in lieu of plucking. Must have had a heavy hand because when I wiped it off I had just a little piece of eyebrow left on on either side!

Hope your son's eyebrow grows back soon!! My DS is losing his fingernail as we speak and he is kind of freaking out. DD used to cut chunks out of her hair when she was little and it drove me crazy. Also had to cut 4 areas of gum out of the dog's fur the other day. Gotta love those kids!!

Isn't that because of the scar and not because of the eyebrow itself? I hope.

As I understand it, any trauma to the eyebrow can cause hair loss, shaving included. My son doesn't have a scar from being hit with the golf club -- there was only a 'goose egg', not an open wound. But the eyebrow never did grow back. When I worked in the ER, docs hated wounds around the eye because they didn't want to shave the eyebrow area and not have it grow back.
