Dogs all the way. No choice though, everyone in my family, parents too are allergic to cats. Married into the allergy too. Never had a cat, never will.

My cat is a pretty nonchalant fellow, so I do catch myself wishing for a dog and all it's boundless enthusiasm on occasion.

Well with 7 cats, and 1 dog and a bird..........you guess! Actually I like all animals, but cats are just easier when you are a working stiff. And when this dog is gone (she is 14) there will be no more. Always loved my greyhounds and love this Saluki but it is tough when you are working to feel that a dog gets the attention they need.

Strongly prefer cats. Dogs are OK, but not really my thing. I'm kind of glad I'm allergic to dogs, because I can picture my DH wanting one.

I love cats but have 2 dogs due to my dd and I being allergic to cats.
Cats are soooo easy and friendly and easy (did I say that?)
....these dogs drive me NUTS.
