No, I copied and pasted an entire question-and-answer from the Pet FAIlsafe (along with the link to that page) and it said - not " said it" service animals and in-cabin pets both need to fit under the seat.

Because I have no connection with Southwest, somebody who cares more than just about being accused of posting information verbatim from their website might want to contact them about the conflicting information.

Southwest's website does appear to have conflicting information, depending on which section one reads. If bringing a service animal or pet on any airline, it would be a good idea to contact your airline directly to get the rules, not just rely on website information. If you have severe allergies to animals, you might also want to contact the airline to have it noted, in the event an animal is on your flight.
