Doggie with broken jaw

I have a miniature pinscher and a golden/chow mix. They really love each other, but are both food possesive. Well, Xana (min pin) woke us up night before last screaming. They had gotten into the trash and were fighting over it. Tilly broke Xana's jaw. Xana is at the orthopedic surgean right now having steel plates put in her jaw. Please pray for a quick healing for her and us because somehow we have to manage to find $2100 for the vet bill. Thanks and God bless!!!!

Poor little baby We had a Boxer that used to fight with our 10 lb. poodle over food, she had her mouth stitched up once and once on her head they used this blue gluish stuff. We have a 16 wk. old Goldendoodle that I'm looking into pet insurance for, I think about $30 a month. I'll pray for a speedy recovery for your dog.

pet insurance is a wonderful thing!!! We had talked about getting it for Xana a long time ago, but just never did (boy how I wish I had gotten it now!!!) I will definately be getting it for her after this little escapade!! Thanks for the prayers.

Any updates on little Xana? I really feel for you, we have a little MinPin too. Her name is Minnie, she's 8months old and we adore her.

Thank you all for your prayers. Xana is doing good. Doc said he wants to keep her till Sunday though. She had 2 steel plates inserted in her jaw, and they had to remove a couple of teeth to make the jaw line up ok. But, she will be home with us on Sunday!!!!! Thanks again everyone!
