Dog Sled Adventure by Helicopter in Skagway or Jeneau?

Hi,

Trying to decide which one is better for the helicopter/dog sled Skagway or Jeneau?
I do see is a little more $$in Jeneau.
Also any good recommendations for Ketchikan. Cruising at the end of June and will love to see bears too.

We did helicopter dogsledding in Skagway for several reasons- first, it is often cancelled due to weather, and we chose an operator that runs out of both Skagway and Juneau so that if we were cancelled in Skagway we could try again in Juneau. Second, we were in Port longer in Skagway. We had plenty of time to do White Pass train up/van down in the morning, have a relaxed lunch, and then go dogsledding without feeling rushed.

Juneau!!

Not only do you land on the top(Just a big field of snow), but also near the bottom. Look at the pictures on the web site link. It was only about $30 more per person and so worth it!

Also the day we did it was raining like crazy and the other two companies canceled(DCL tours), but ours didn't!

Flying over you wouldn't think there was any place to land.

Those are 10-100 foot deep cracks behind us! Or more?
