Dog Show results!!

We placed third!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tough judge. I knew that when I entered,but that would never deter me from a show. I really didn't expect too much because it was her first outside show. I know a lot of people that won't do obedience trial outside,espesially if they own scent hounds or any of the hunting breeds! It can be frustrating when you have a dog that wants to go to ground.
I went in the ring with that in mind. we were there for the outside experience and if she gave me more I'd be happy. Well,my girl did pretty good with a score of 186.5!! First place was a Golden(of course!!) with a 191. This judge took off a point because Georgie barked at me when she came front on the recall! Its very cute,and people laugh at her,but not all judges think its so cute!!! Its really hard to correct this problem,because this dog has done this ONLY at trials!! Never in training. Tell me they don't know the difference!
We're very happy with our results and tomorrow we start fine tuning for another show in 2 weeks!!

You guys totally rock!! Congratulations. Have to say tho, goldens can be complete blockheads at times too!! I could go on and on. But, I won't. That is really terrific. Georgie should be getting extra hugs.
