Dog program extended

I'm not happy about it either. My trip in December is at a dog resort (YC,) but at least this time, I knew when I booked the reservation that dogs were a possibility.
My reservation last year, I had already booked a trip at what was, at the time, a pet free resort. Disney turned it into a pet allowed resort just a couple months before my stay. Due to the popular time (Marathon weekend) and the size of my party (2 adults, 4 kids) it was very difficult to switch to a non pet resort.

If Disney had a reputation of consistently enforcing rules I don't think many people would have issues with the dog policy. But they don't. They allow guests to bring their dogs anywhere, poop anywhere, sit in food courts, etc. I never care that there are dogs at the Loews hotels at Universal, because I almost never see them. And never ever see them where they aren't supposed to be.

As I said in another thread, **************** is just another fan site. It is not an official Disney site. There is still no official word from Disney either on their website or blog. Those are the only 2 sites I would really believe. Another poster spoke with a rep from George K, the head of WDW & was told that no decision has been made yet. Just because another fan site posted it, doesn’t mean it’s true. They did not name their source. Could have been some random phone CM who doesn’t know any more than we do.
