Dog Medical question

Daniel is better tonight. He slept most of the day But I am sure the medication needed time to work in his system. Yes, Daniel received all his vaccinations(including bordatella) when he was at the shelter. He was only there for 6 days before we adopted him and that was on Nov. 17th. The vet said there are other strands of the kennel cough virus besides bordatella(because we quickly questioned how he got the virus). We already know that he will be vaccinated again in May because we have a trip to WDW in June. Then I will be worrying again about that but I also have to remember the infection was a factor with him being sick. We still haven't decided about returning to obedience class. We have time until the following week because he won't attend this week's class anyways.

Also I forgot to mention we had to show proof of vaccinations before attending the obedience classes( the shelter is a facility which has the adoption area, a clinic and class rooms upstairs) so at any given time a large number of animals could be in the building. We are wondering that maybe when we talk to the instructor we might find out that other dogs caught the virus also.
