We have two fur babies. One is a female dogue de bordeaux (french mastiff) just like Hooch, from Turner and Hooch. The other is a male neopolitan mastiff, just like Fang from Harry Potter. Never a dull moment around here!

We have 3...a Bassett Hound, a Dachshund, and a Corgi mix. I have to say that Bassetts are some of the sweetest, best behaved dogs I have ever owned. They are very laid back and tolerant...very good around kids.

Brodie is a mixed breed that we got from the Michigan Humane Society (they're fairly sure he's German Shepherd, Lab and either Husky or Akita ~ he's got the snow dog tail and the undercoat):

And now at almost 4 years old (and a little too roly-poly according to the vet ~ he gets too many Kongs filled with canned food because he brings it to me when he wants it filled and if I ignore him, he throws it at me or tackles me! ):

We have Xena our 6 yr old Brindle Boxer, Gabby our 3 yr old Sable coated cocker spaniel and Bernie our 3 yr old St.Bernard that we adopted from a foster family.

Zippy! the Boston Terror! eh..emm..Boston Terrier!
I like dressing Zippy in hats--we have the Birthday Cake hat & the Mouse Ears, amoungst others.

The guys--DH, DS17 & DFIL-- find this disturbing
Actually, I'm thinking Zippy does, too~

I am looking for an adult mixed breed dog to adopt.

Our 15 year old mixed (German shepard-Dobie) went over the
Rainbow Bridge Mother's Day of 2005.

Zippy needs a friend, & we need a fur baby taller than Zippy!

We adopted a greyhound, Minty, in April; she'll 4 in October. Her racing name was, "Mighty Mint," though the only thing "mighty" about her is her bark.. on the rare occasions she uses it. She has a little white on her chest on and on both the tips of her back toes.
My last two greys were males and at first I wondered it there'd be a difference with a female.. she's much more "cuddly" than the boys were..but will only climb up on the couch with me if there's a certain blanket on it.. a black and white Mickey Mouse one!

My "old man" is a 13 year old German Wired Hair Pointer. He can hardly make it up and down the stairs and his vision is going. He is a big baby!

We just rescued our new "baby" in July. He's a beautiful border collie/spaniel mix and is about 3-4 months old now. Casey is a bundle of energy, but so sweet and smart! Right now, he's nudging me to play....he's just another member of the family who thinks I spend too much time on the DIS!!

Our kids are a 2 year old collie/lab mix, Senor Maximus Perro and our one year old collie Mickey Pupimus. They are the joy of our lives!

We have 2 tri-color rough collies who, although we don't always treat them as people, seem to think they are!

We have 2 rough collies, too, but ours are sable and white. They have such great personalities! My collie-kids are 9 y.o. Malcolm and 4 y.o. Kaeleigh.
