Speaking on behalf of the non-dog lovers...
PLEASE don't assume that because YOU love being licked by your dog, people like me minding my own business in the park, at the bus stop, or walking down the street will also LOVE being licked by your dog. Or having your dog jump up on me "to say hello". Or rub his nose all over my pants to sniff me. UGH!![]()

If you are walking your dog near a stranger, please reel the leash in so that you can actually control the dog and prevent him/her from jumping up on people. It's not cute...it's rude and annoying.
Thank you, Sgt. Killjoy. We all needed a lecture about keeping friendly dogs away from people because OBVIOUSLY everyone here just lets their slobbery, tongue-hanging-out licky dogs glom all over every stranger b/c, golly gee, the dog has a heckuva lot of love for everyone! Only someone of less than average intelligence, a complete slob, or someone with a massive passive-agressive streak would do something tlike what you describe anyway.

My dog likes to wake me up by sitting on my hair and holding my hair down with his paws (so I can't move) and giving me lots of doggy kisses! He goes crazy and it just makes me laugh.
