I've been calling around to board our dog & it's just making me sick. The cost, leaving him w/ strangers....ugh. He's my babyyyyyy!!! :rolleyes1

I really can't imagine leaving him in his crate all day while we have fun in the parks but is there some secret place I never heard about that has lodging for people AND fur babies?? Like he sleeps in our room with us of course, but while we're off frolicking in DL, he's at some doggie daycare in the establishment??

Am I asking for something that doesn't even exist?? :rotfl:

He seriously is a Mama's Boy & the thought of leaving my 35 lb ball of fur is laying some guilt on me!! :sad2:

I don' know about doggie daycare, but the Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate is pet-friendly. I noticed several guests walking their small dogs in the grassy areas surrounding the buildings. The resort is set up like condos, so there's plenty of green space for dogwalking. I also noticed a "PET INSIDE" magnet in the room that you can put on the exterior of your door to alert housekeeping.

The room layout is perfect for famlies or those who like having a full kitchen and separate living area. It's also close enough to walk to DLR main entrance (15-20 min walk).

I do know there is a PetSmart PetsHotel on Harbor and they offer doggie day care options. (at least there was last year......)

Its a couple miles away from the parks, so dropping off and picking up would take away from park time:eek: But its another option.
I think most locations hours are the same.....the one I work at here in Tucson is open 7am-9pm. Our prices are $19 for day camp(playing with other dogs) and $17 for day care(staying in a boarding room), but of course Cali locations are going to be more expensive.

Its a little more time consuming then leaving your dog in your hotel room, but just wanted to let you know that its availble.....

The Red Lion is a dog friendly hotel.
Are you aware of the kennels at DL? although your little one would be in a crate while you were in the park, you would be able to go visit/walk/play with your dog as you choose.

You doggie will be crated is you use DLR kennels, just so you know. We either board our pups or we have a friend who stays at our house while we are gone, that way the dogs can stay home and no one worries. :) But we are very lucky with both because our kennel rocks!!!!! IIRC someone posted about a doggie daycare type of thing in Anaheim that you could drop your dog off at but I don't have any info because we've never taken our dogs. I do believe that the Anaheim Plaza is dog friendly and they are a good place to stay so you might want to check them out. :) Also, I would imagine that any dog friendly hotels would have day kennel listings so you might want to call them and see if they do.
