Doesn't anyone ever stop complaining?

Me, I am here for the friends too. I know this sounds corny, but I have way too much fun hanging out with you guys, I would give up all the inferno in the world for it. Well, maybe I'd keep just ONE! :lmao: :lmao:

But no you will not guilt me into changing my opinion of the crates today.

Believe me I never said I was happy about the crates either nor was I trying to guilt anyone into being thankful for them. I have 5 star bat magic and I bought a ton of crates. The only thing I'm saying is if you don't like it don't bother getting in line for the maze and then complain because of the prize and that the lines are long and that there is lag. It's that simple. I'm not on and I'm not playing because I don't need any more crates. But I'm also not complaining because I'm thankful for what they DID do for us this month. Take a look at past months...At least there is a host event.
 

I don't take these complaint threads as all complaining. I see it as if vmk staff does read the boards like we have been told they do, this is just an opportunity for all to request what they like and what they don't like, so that maybe changes can be made.
If we all sit here and pretend we are absolutely thrilled with the black crates or single use bat magic ... It could be another prize to come in the future. If they know we are not thrilled with the choice of prize, maybe next time it will be something we ask for.

While I am a little disappointed about one time bat magic and black crates, I am also so thankful for them.:goodvibes Free is free and you won't see me complain about it.( at least I don't think I have) Besides those credits I saved to buy more black crates can go to something else.. (like saving for Christmas now:lmao: )

And I think most would agree what really makes this game worth playing is friends!:hug: :goodvibes

I am thankful for the game in general, I am thankful for all the new stuff since I have started playing, I am thankful for the hosts and their rooms and prizes, I am thankful for the staff that keep it running.

ty for keeping rare, rare, so I have to spend a fortune to get items I was not here to get
ty for putting items in the store so I can spend my hard earned credits only to get it free later, and making sure nothing since I have been playing will be considered rare to use as trading items
ty for all the lag and crashes I wouldn't know how to act without it.

Of course people have the right to their opinions as I have a right to mine. And mine is I'm so tired of seeing 50 threads about complaining and rarely 1 or 2 saying thanks. I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same. Thats why I decided to take it upon myself and say what some of us were thinking. It's not like we pay to play. It's free and honestly I get on for my friends. I have about 30+ bat bags and I don't need another but I'll log in anyways just to hang out and :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: with them. :hug:
 
Free is free to me. Saves me credits. Black crates or grey crates, I honestly don't care. 1 time use bat magic, oh well, I'll use it and move on.

I was brought up to be grateful for everything. Yes, that means even the not so great things.

Collect those black crates people, in 2 or 3 months someone out there will want them!

Yes, I totally agree. People will complain no matter what. My comment to people who complain at work, on vmk, or anywhere is instead of complaining, vent about the issue but provide a possible suggestion to help resolve it. Also, please understand that some people may not agree with how you feel, everyone is able to have their opinion. Complaining does not get you anywhere.
 
Well said. I wouldn't say thanks VMK, though, because what they do they get paid for, assuming that they are Disney employees.

You'll understand the necessity for those two simple words when you have a real job, one day. Those two words do a lot for keeping employees happy in their work. :)

I sincerely hope you don't think everyone is entitled to the rare items from the beta days of vmk. That would be impossible to accomplish. When I first started playing, there were days when 200 players on vmk was overwhelming! Now it's normal to see 4000+. To put things simply, there aren't enough items in the game for everyone to have, no matter how much you have to trade for them.

Thank you vmk and staff for keeping the host events going, no matter what the prize is. Today I have the choice of buying the black crates or putting up with the lag. I didn't have that choice yesterday.
 
Oh I just remember when Fin made her rides less confusing and joined some rooms just as a ride. I thanked her. Now that is part of her job to make it work the best it could. But I still thanked her. I do not see the prize they choose as part of hosts jobs as I see that as the programmers. So many times the host say we do not know why they choose that. They are the greeters at WDW making sure the crowd control is done right and orderly. As well as all players a playing nice. And of course very good at computers :)

The prgrammers design the prizes, the games etc. So I think that needed to be said. I think the hosts are awesome and can only do with what they are given.

I agree with you. It's always better to vent and have a possible suggestion to help resolve it in all aspects of life whether it be at work, home or even playing games. And yes I know that people will not always agree, we all have our own opinions, to each their own as I always say. I was just playing devil's advocate. Always gets me into trouble.:guilty:
 
Well I feel very sorry that you think that anyone who does their job shouldn't be thanked. As someone who works with a computer quite a bit I was more than unhappy with peoples comments on the new halloween pins. I understand people have their opinions and that's fine I respect that. But I bet 90% of them have no idea what kind of time and effort it would take to go into making something look like that. And for the record I'd like to say it is not VMK Staff's job to make us happy THAT is why I am thanking them. Because they made ME happy. :hippie:

Three cheers.............. You're so correct. Just because someone gets paid for doing a job. Does not mean they can not be thanked, for doing a GREAT JOB.

It must be very frustrating to work on a project. Thinking people will at the very least like what is being offered. Then to read it was lame.

Your also correct in it not being VMK's job to make us happy. Heaven knows there are those out there that are impossible to please. But, VMK does an excellent job for us and keeps trying to add to our "fun time".

I believe that when society thinks, that because people are paid to do a service, they are not entitled to a simple "THANK YOU". It is a pretty sad time.

Somewhere we have lost our common courtesy to others.

::yes:: I know that from experience. being a cashier you have to be courteous to the people going through your line. Most people don't even care and are just very rude.

I wish that the way people acted in real life didn't transfer over to vmk sometimes.. then we might not have all the problems that we do.

I've noticed that people have really been quite whiny lately. Personally, I don't care whether black crates or white ghosts are given out in the maze rooms. At least there is something being given, for free even! Staff is doing a wonderful job coming up with ideas, considering their side-jobs of developing the new CL program, keeping VMK safe, and pleasing the public all at one time. Also, I don't understand why people are getting angry with staff. THEY ARE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN. Really, people just need to let things go and let VMK run itself. The complaining is really, really starting to annoy.

Yep, I did. Thrilled to death about the ghosts and posted so, in a few places.

Bottom line everyone: ANY prize they pick is going to make some ppl happy and some ppl sad. Free stuff is free stuff. And free stuff is always something we can all use, especially at the end of a very expensive month. If you are lucky enough not to need free stuff, well, then you getting free credit earning time!

And for the 3rd time: Thanks for the ghost.he's vmk! It was like Channukah in October!
