Doesn't anyone ever stop complaining?

First of all this is not directed at anyone. But I am really tired of all the complaining and I feel this needs to be said. So I suppose I shall be the one to say it. Did anyone bother to post a 'Thank you VMK' thread for all the cool new stuff? If I recall correctly there wasn't one. Did anyone bother to say thanks to VMK for bringing the ghosts back yesterday? Because there was ALOT of complaining because people didn't get as many as they wanted. So I'll say it...Thanks VMK for the cool new stuff and bringing the ghosts back because I didn't buy as many as I wanted when they first were out. This is a GAME! If your really that upset about this then maybe you need some time away from the computer. I for one am going to draw. Have a magical day!

Yes, in the middle of complaint threads, there are Thanks as well. Just have to look between the pages for them.

And that's just one of the top of my head.
I don't take these complaint threads as all complaining. I see it as if vmk staff does read the boards like we have been told they do, this is just an opportunity for all to request what they like and what they don't like, so that maybe changes can be made.
If we all sit here and pretend we are absolutely thrilled with the black crates or single use bat magic ... It could be another prize to come in the future. If they know we are not thrilled with the choice of prize, maybe next time it will be something we ask for.
That's my take on it.

Well I feel very sorry that you think that anyone who does their job shouldn't be thanked. As someone who works with a computer quite a bit I was more than unhappy with peoples comments on the new halloween pins. I understand people have their opinions and that's fine I respect that. But I bet 90% of them have no idea what kind of time and effort it would take to go into making something look like that. And for the record I'd like to say it is not VMK Staff's job to make us happy THAT is why I am thanking them. Because they made ME happy.

If people already had bought so many ghosts and crates prior to the event, then they do not have to do the maze!

Nothing is ever perfect, take the good with the bad.

Not everyone plays the game to purchase correctly and trade later, some play for other reasons. I don't play the game to eventually have the most rare.

I am curious what Vmk's contact us page inbox is like, is it all full of complaints or do some people actually take the time to write them and say. Thank You!

This is the reason, why I don't really come to the Dis, or almost any vmk-related fansite in that matter (except for two) anymore...

and This is what I would say about it: Suck it up, yeah it may be not be fair, but life isn't fair. Vmk can't do everything little thing that is commanded, because if they do one thing then people would expect for them to keep doing that. In the end, it's is all just a bunch of pixels, there is so many more important things going on than a stupid game. I don't think that them changing a maze prize will stop people over using antibiotics so super bacteria won't be created or that bringing out flying carpet magic will finally figure out to how stop global warming. I think it just shows how demanding everyone now in days, and I do admit it I did complain about wanting things but it took me until college to finally figure out to be very thankful for what I have.

I just think everyone needs to look on the brighter side of things. Although some of the cosutmes were repeats from last year, at least we have a chance to stock up on more to trade throughout the year to people who will want them eventually after this month. Besides the costumes we got the awesome candy corn chair (that all my friends love at least), we got two new hats that we have been waiting for, boys got a new hairstyle to match their new costume. The new bouncing mickey ghosts are an awesome new addition as well. Not to mention the weekend pin series being back agian - I know many have been waiting for that to come back as well! Looking past all the negatives, I still think VMK did a great job this halloween with all the new things that they did come out with, especially the maze event! Those rooms had to take a lot of time to make! So I would like to thank staff and everyone at VMK who made Halloween great this year! If we keep complaining, one day we might wake up and VMK may no longer be there if we don't appreciate what they do for us. -Sigh- Just my 2 cents on this.

people will always complain, no matter what. They could be giving away candy cauldrons, and there would still be some people saying "but why didn't we get _____?" I personally was hoping for candy cauldrons, but I knew the chance was slim, especially since this is an event you can do over and over again, so I had a feeling it was going to be a buyable.

Me, I am here for the friends too. I know this sounds corny, but I have way too much fun hanging out with you guys, I would give up all the inferno in the world for it. Well, maybe I'd keep just ONE!

I guess I'm to new and don't have anything to complain about! But it is difficult hearing everyone so unhappy with vmk. It is just a game, a fun free game that I for one am happy to be able to play and to play with my children. Black crates for prizes or rare, I don't care. I am just glad to be able to play the game. I have made many new friends and that helps make it all worth it!

I think if the lines were not so long the lag so bad you get stuck in teleporters people would be more thankful. The ghosts were worth the wait. They were retired and expensive. A 150 crate is not worth the lag the queues of 150 once in the maze to get it. That is realilty. Yes it is free but so many can earn that many credits in the time having fun playing games than waiting and waiting in line.

So no I am not thankful for the crates today. And I am a consumer of disney products so my opinion counts too.

Love the ghosts. But no you will not guilt me into changing my opinion of the crates today.
