doesDL photopass include your OWN uploaded pictures?

we are leaving tomorrow.
my little girl (7) is SO excited (as are the rest of us! but she doesn't remember her last 2 times at disney... so xtra special for her)

does the 59.00 photo pass INCLUDE the option to upload your OWN pictures onto the website (make the borders, clip art, etc.) and then purchase the cd

or is that another option (i saw one can *just* buy the "upload your own" picture, option--for about 19.xx)

No they don't add your uploaded pics to the CD. But they will gladly sell you any of their other products using the pictures you took!

Not an option on the main CD, but as you saw you can buy a different CD.

I'll tell you though...you get VERY different options on your own uploaded pictures. Not the same at all, at least when I did it. I ordered some prints (something like 20 cents each when it's your OWN pictures, vs 12-15 for their pictures, by the way), not the CD, but of course it doesn't know what you're ordering when you are messing around with your uploaded pictures.

BIG disappointment, IMO, but I did it over the summer, and it might have changed since then. Only way to know is to upload some pix and see what you're offered. No harm if you decide to not order, if the borders aren't good enough.

this is all good to know
i TOTALLY envisioned being able to upload my own pictures and being able to add borders
and then buying that cd (and printing out the pictures, say at wallymart)

but it sounds like it isn't quite worth doing (at 2 different prices--as opposed to everything for 59.99)

that should have been my first clue

I've uploaded my own photos to see what borders they have, and the self uploaded borders are nowhere near as nice as the PhotoPass borders. I believe it's because if they were as nice, you would have a lot less motivation to buy the PhotoPass CD.

However, the upload your own photo feature is very nice if you're going to do something like a PhotoBook or PhotoMovie. If you do that, Disney will allow you to use both your own photos and the PhotoPass photos for your project. And as was said, you do not have to buy your own photos from Disney should you choose to upload them and use them in a project.
