Does your school have a Fall Break?

Our fall break for this year is October 9-13. This is the second year we have a fall break, it's pretty new to our school system.

No, we've got a Mid-winter break, though. (Why is it called 'Midwinter'? Winter lasts til March)

Always. Sorta makes up for having a short summer. We have a week off in about a month's time, then 2 weeks off for Christmas, then a week off in February, then 2 weeks off for Easter, then a week off in June, then 6 weeks off for Summer.

I was going to be like "You for got about Thanksgiving!" but then I remembered that you live in England.... and don't celebrate Thanksgiving.

I don't have a day off until Thanksgiving. We don't even have Columbus day or Election day off this year.

and then Veterans day off.

Then 2 and 1/2 days off for thanksgiving break. the 1/2 is an early day.

then christmas break & february vacation.

Back when I was in elementry school we had an October break, but then a couple years ago they changed it to Thanksgiving break which is a whole week.

Yes, it is officially called fall break. We also have:

Thanksgiving - 1 week
Christmas/New Years - 2 weeks plus 1 day
Mardi Gras - 1 week
Spring break - 1 week

Nope we just get a Winter Break (About 2 weeks) and a Spring Break (1 Week)
We used to get a Mid-Winter break but people complained that school lasted too long then so it was cancelled :/
