Any tips on keeping your phone charged all day? I'm thinking with all of my reservations and fast pass information stored in the Disney app and constantly referring to that and using location services, my battery will die very quickly. Any thoughts?

We bought a portable charger to use. Fairly cheap from Amazon and we just kept it in my bag and used as needed.

Stay off of WiFi and use an external charger

I didn't find this to be much of an issue. At home my battery is usually dead by the end of the day but while at the parks I had it on airplane mode and left it that way until I needed to use the app. I found that my battery lasted a lot longer than it normally does at home.

There are a few charging stations around the parks now. We saw one in the store outside Space mountain.

I will add my vote to the portable charger/power bank suggestion. We have bought one for each phone we are taking with us...I'm thinking of getting a second for DD the reigning texting champ in our town :)

they work well, just make sure you get everything charged overnight and when you phone gets low, plug in the power bank and let it charge. The one I have can take my iPhone from 20% to fully charged in about an hour, and it clips to my phone holder for ease of connecting.

I keep times on a note page (the app) for each day, have never used the mde app while in the parks and never had any battery issues.

I'm constantly taking photos, recording video, using social media, using apps, reading, playing games, etc so I have a Mophie battery case on my phone anyway. For WDW I bring a spare battery pack on top of that, because I use the Disney apps pretty heavily as well.

I carry a portable battery charger in my bag. As long as the charger is fully charged, it can keep four of us going for a whole day. I tried a couple of different kinds, and the best one I've found is the New Trent brand available on Amazon for around $40.

This ^ saves lots of battery power. Unless you need to have it on for calls (meeting the rest of your party in the park, etc), and even then, if you kill the apps you're not using and stay off Wi-Fi, you can easily last 12 hours.

I have an external charger and a spare battery that I carry with me. On Amazon I got a set of 2 batteries with the charger. Very cheap.

Target sells a portable charger that takes 2 AA's. It is $5, and right now it's in their "One Spot" cheap stuff section. I just picked one up for our trip tomorrow and it works fine, if somewhat tight to insert the USB. There are also charging stations in some of the parks that you secure with a CC, but I'd take a portable charger (particularly if you plan on using apps in the park or taking pictures with your phone).

I keep my phone on airplane mode at home and my battery last 2 days because is not searching for cell service. My carrier let's me make calls over both cellular and WiFi. If your using mostly data in the parks then put it in airplane mode, and get a power pack.

We brought along an Anker Astro Mini portable charger, which we picked up on Amazon for $20, but never used it because we'd just charge our phones during our mid-day break back at the resort. It was light enough and small enough that I carried it in my pocket every day, though, and barely noticed it was there.

I made sure I started out each park day with a full battery and never needed a further charge during the park day. Used MDE app each day.

This will be my first visit with a smartphone, and I'm sure I'll be using the app in the park, so will be taking a portable charger.

I have noticed in the past, that in some of the attractions you lose a signal, and with the phone constantly searching for the signal, it drains the battery faster. Definitely try to keep it in airplane mode when you're not actively using an app or calling someone.

I took a screen shot of my Fast Passes and ADRs then made that my home screen picture. Put my phone in airplane mode and the battery lasted all day.
