Does your kitchen have a theme?

I am in the process of redecorating my kitchen, from one color scheme to a whole new theme (fruit is the new choice) and I was wondering if anyone else had a theme?

Apples and cows. My walls are red - flame red. I have pictures of apples, apple everything. A couple of cows thrown in because they are so dang cute

Right now? The Cluttered Counter theme....

We have the cluttered counter look too, but the main theme is apples. We have them stenciled on the walls.

Blue and white and my curtains are the only thing with a pattern, checked with daisies.


Actually, my walls are paneled, with some awful brown stripe, only because I haven't torn it down yet. I'll ignore it until I can.

No real themes. I do have a Mickey spoon for the stove top and Mickey solverware.

French Country - I have bunnies & roosters. I've been tempted to paint the walls a dark green and the cabinets with a antiqued look but I haven't. I'm too chicken. I saw a Trading Spaces where Genevieve did a Butcherie theme and did chalkboard paint on the walls. I LOVED that kitchen and it would go really well with what I already have. So that is basically what I want to do (minus the meat art).

Garfield & Coke, Garfield mostly in the kitchen and Coke in the breakfast nook. I'm still working on it but there are also a few Disney things that will be in the room of couse I have a Coke Minnie & Mickey Pin, a Disney Coke Bottle and a few other things that will bring Disney into the room.

yes, currently the theme is "No Man's Land".


But, I'm thinking of switching to a soda fountain theme.
Padded stools, coca cola and other softdrink-related decorative items. It already has a waitress, lol.

It's the next room on the list to get remodeled... although I may do the bedroom first - not quite as large of a project....
