The reason I am asking............

I have a Wishes cruise scheduled for Dec. 1, Thursday. I was wondering what time Wishes will go off..........(they can't tell me until later, ofcourse) so I went to this site:
http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/calendar/historical/historicalhours2004.asp

I realized after I called that I have scheduled my cruise on a night that MVMCP is going on.........thought that might make the fireworks later than usual.

But then I noticed on this site that they don't have the fireworks listed for the nights that the party is going on. I haven't been to the party since 2002 and they didn't have Wishes then.

Anyone know??

I heard that it is a special wishes that you can see from anywhere in the park. I really like the regular one though.

I disagree that it can be seen from anywhere in the park. We were in Frontierland and with all the trees we had a very limited view.

But OMG they are awesome. I love Wishes but MVMCP's Wishes is so much better. My opinion you have to be in the park to throughly enjoy these. Not sure it will be the same experience from Seven Seas Lagoon.

The fireworks were at 10pm during 11/28/05's MVMCP

Do you mean 11/28/04??? ;)

Ooooo, I don't know if I want to go that late. My mom is 74, that's her bedtime!! :teeth:

Oh, I love Wishes so much, are you sure they are different during the party and that they are better??

Now, I don't know what to do........... :confused3

OOPS yep you are right I meant 11/28/04. What makes them better is during the finale. They go off all around the park everywhere you look there are fireworks going off. Its just amazing. It was myself, DD12, Dniece 24, her DH, and their DS4 (that day was his B-day) and it was just magical. Dniece and I kept saying how much my dad would love it. He loves fireworks. He is an OOHHH and AHHHH'er. We are trying to figure it out to get them(dad and mom) to go this year with us, get them a Tower room at CR and we'll just get wing rooms ourselves. But I know my dad would get a kick out of seeing the fireworks from the room.

If I were you I'd do the Wishes cruise for a different day and be in the park for MVMCP. Have Fun and Enjoy!

My favorite Wishes experience was when riding BTMRR just after the show started. OMG, it was so awesome having the fireworks going off just over our heads, it was the most amazing ride ever! Words fail me in describing how neat this really was.

We of course love Wishes so much so that we watched it properly one night and taped it the next. I cried both times. It's awesome. Maggie

I thought I had read that the fireworks for this year's MVMCP (2005) would be completely new as it would be set to all Christmas music, like they do out in Disneyland.

Anyone know if this is true??

The fireworks were at 9:15pm in 2003 & 2004. There are peripheral fireworks that go off all over the Seven Seas Lagoon. All boats stay at their docks during the fireworks because there are fireworks that are set off close to / on the water. I would think they would be awesome to see on a Wishes cruise.

They've always been at 9:15p unless there's a weather delay.

I've read that this year's fireworks at MVMCP and MNSSHP will be a little different. Time will tell!

Last year they were Wishes with a special twist at the end.

What do you mean, "at their docks"..........we are picking up the boat at the WL.

When we exited MVMCP in 2003 after the first parade, but before the fireworks, no resort boat could leave their dock until after the fireworks were over. We were at the Poly dock, the boat was there, and the captain said no boats were allowed to go out until after the fireworks had ended because there were fireworks set off from barges on the lagoon. We ended up watching the fireworks from outside the gates in front of the train station.
