Does Whispering Canyon cater to allergies?

my dh has allergies and last time we ate at Whispering Canyon we had a problem. Anyone know if it is any better now? I heard Disney is trying to work with people with allergies.

Hmmm...I'll be interested in the responses. We plan on eating here for the first time and my daughter has allergies as well (milk, eggs). Generally speaking, we've had more success at restaurants at the resorts than in the parks. I'm crossing my fingers that we'll do ok. Sorry that I don't know the answer...

My DGD has food allergies and WCC was accommodating. THey helped DD to choose food that DGD could have and the Chef came out to speak to her before ordering. I would suggest that you head over to the DISabilities board for more responses.The folks on that board can help you with their own experiences and have a lot of practical advice that may make your trip easier..

My niece is allergic to gluten and they hooked her up big-time. I forget what she had, but she liked it and all was well.

Shellfish allergy here. All the Disney TS restaurants are great about dealing with allergies. Letting them know ahead of time is best, but they'll work with you when you show up, too. I've never tried it at the counter service places. I just order things I know I'll be safe with. And I always carry allergy meds with me just in case.

to note the allergy on the ADR and raise the issue with the host/ess. If no one comes out soon raise it with the CM providing service.

my daughter is allergic to potatoes and all the disney restaurants we ats at including wcc were excellent....at wcc had the skillet which comes with mash potatoes.....when the chef came to our table i told him just to put the mash potaoes on the side...but he insited that he make her own skillet and substituted the potatoes for rice..he gave her other choices if she wanted to..
