Does WDW restaurants charge for splitting checks?

This will be our first trip going with another couple who will pay their own way for each meals. Just wanted to check if WDW is going to nickel and dime us with a "service" charge.

Disney doesn't charge for splitting the checks or for sharing a meal (except for Shula's). As much as people think Disney will "nickel and dime" you, they really don't.

It sounds like there are only 4 of you, but just remember that if your party is 8 or more, incl. children, they will automatically charge you the 18% gratuity whether you split the bills or not.
