I know some years back they did rent, but somehow from these boards I get the idea this isn't done anymore. Can someone verify, please.

I remember you walked a few steps and went to the left as you entered Universal's tic entrance. Then you went all the way to the back wall where there was a large counter with some attendants to help you. This is where you would get the rental scooter. A few minutes later it was delivered from the back. You never saw the scooter in a front lineup; they were brought up as you rented one.

Does anyone know why this scooter service was stopped there, if has indeed stopped?

There are ECV rentals at both USF and IOA. However, you do have to get into the Park to do the rental. To get to the Parks from the Parking Garage you have to go all the way through City'Walk.

Inside the structure that leads from the Parking Garages to CityWalk is a location where you can rent a wheelchiar (but not an ECV). So you would have to rent a wheelchair and then get all the way to inside the Park entrance. When you go for the ECV they will credit you with the amount paid for the wheelchair rental.

When you leave the Park and turn in the ECV they will let you have a wheelchair that you can take to the rental location in the Parking structure.
