Title says it all. I seem to remember hearing resort guests can enter the parks at 8am vs 9am for non-resort guests, is that true?

It has been mentioned and verified by people who have called the resort that hotel guests will be allowed to enter IOA one hour before opening to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I believe that only the Harry Potter rides will be open during that hour.

I've been down to UO three times and have heard all the same things about early entry. I've never seen anything about it officially.:confused3

Does anyone have any specific information? Where do you enter...I can't imagine it is throught the main gate, you'd never get through the crowd waiting fo the gates to open.

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.:) Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2

I booked a Harry Potter package for June and it is in fact an hour early for onsite guests. I'm not sure if it's anything other than the Harry Potter area. I'll have to check my paperwork.

ETA - My confirmation says "early park admission to Islands of Adventure."

But is that just for the Harry Potter package? Or is it for all onsite hotel guests?

It's been posted that HP package guests get in one hour early, hotel guests half an hour.

yup me too thought the same thing.
whenever we show up early there is always a line. & they usually open gates for everyone 15 to 30 min early ( this was on US side) there were a few rides open, like shrek & mummy.

So I'm not alone...phew, I thought I was going crazy. Does anyone have any solid info regarding early entries. Times, entrance locations etc.:confused3

Thanks in advance for any info.:thumbsup2
