Sorry Long...

A few weeks ago I purchased admission to the BMG show for our trip in July. I added on the 7 day admission tickets for a total of about $550. I got the BMG tickets in the mail, no park admission tickets, no letter with instructions on how to get my park admission tickets.. nothing.

So I call Guest Services, they transfer me to Ticketing who tells me to go to Guest Services when I arrive at the park... when I ask whether I need to bring the CC I charged them on etc... she tells me just to make sure she'll transfer me BACK to Guest Services. This guy tells me that my BMG tickets ARE my admission tickets?! I question how this can be.. my show isn't until 1/2 way through my trip, do they expect me to carry around BMG tickets for days on end & what about when I actually go to the show? Is my Stub now my Park Ticket?? He put me on hold several times during the call & kept coming back with the same answer. Yes.

I am having trouble with this... why on earth can they not issue separate admission tickets? Or at least EXPLAIN it either online or in a letter that accompanied my BMG tickets... I expressed my concern over the obvious confusion that THEY had (3 different people, 2 different answers) & that with such a lack of communication regarding it, their calls from guests are only JUST beginning.

Does anyone know if what they told me is a crock?!

I don't know if what they told you was a crock.

I can tell you that I bought the PAP with the Beall's special, which made it second year free. Nowhere on my pass does it say anything about Beall's or two years. You can bet I'm saving every drop of paperwork from that purchase, and I will be carrying it with me on future trips once that first year is up.

I think it's important to remember that in your case, the BMG thing is new -- brand new -- and your trip is still eight months away. I'm sure Uni will be doing some tweaking, especially if they receive more calls from confused guests. If I were you, I'd keep your paperwork and make a note -- like on a large Post-It -- of the date you called and what the TMs told you. I'd also follow up on that in around three months. I'd follow up again in another three months and then finally right before you leave.

As for having to carry around your BMG tickets, wouldn't you have to carry around your admission ticket anyway to get into the parks? Seems like either way, you're going to being carrying around a "ticket" of some sort, no?

Hope you have a blast!!! I can't wait to see BMG there. Please let us know how it is :)

You can easily check you tickets online by going to the main site
Universalorlando.com
You can also check your AP's at the same site and it will tell you when you expire. No frets or worries, and no crocks. Take the credit card you used just in case you need to go to guest services, and in fact I would definately go to guest services anyway. Disney taught me that lesson.

Am I missing something? Went to the site & didn't see anything. :confused3

Your BMG tickets are NOT your admission tickets. Most likely the admission tickets were set up as Will-Call. Send me a PM with your confirmation number and I'll find out for you. And YaytezIOA, you cannot check your tickets online just annual pass information.

If you don't have a confirmation number, send me your telephone number and I'll find someone to help you. It sounds like you were not talking to Guest Services but the online ticketing (even though they said it was GS).

Thanks! Sent you a PM.

When you call the Guest service phone number, it gives several options: general information, tickets, vip tours, lost and found, etc. When you choose tickets, you get the online ticket store not guest services. The only way to get a guest service co-ordinator is to press the option that says to speak with a Guest service co-ordinator for all other issues press 9.

OK, I saw the tickets that included BMG and also admission. They are a combo ticket that, in your case, says: 7 day/2 park on them. Think of it as an old Disneypark ticket that included Disneyquest. You don't give up your ticket when you go to Disneyquest. They just scanned the ticket. That is what they will do at the BMG. It is included in the package you bought: 7 day admission plus BMG. That is your park ticket and then when you go to BMG, they will just scan the ticket and you will keep it. It will not be a ticket stub. The confusion is that these tickets are brand new since the BMG hasn't started yet and so most of us have not seen them. I did look at some today and they will work as both your admission ticket and your BMG ticket.
