Does Tusker House ever open for breakfast earlier than 8 AM?

I will be in Disney for Thanksgiving week. The official hours for that week aren't out yet, but according to the projected hours on touringplans.com, Animal Kingdom opens at 8 AM every day that week, and the EMH day is at 7 AM. I was hoping to get a breakfast reservation for an hour before the park opens. I've never done it, and love the idea of getting in the park before it opens and getting some pics on the way to the restaurant.

No. Earliest opening is 8 AM regardless of Park opening schedule

The earliest breakfast is 8:00 regardless of EMH. I was hoping the same thing a few weeks ago but was told that parks no longer have earlier seatings. You may be able to get an earlier seating at a resort breakfast.

Thanks. Thats a bummer. I really wanted to get to do the Tusker House breakfast before park opening. Not sure I will bother with breakfast then.

1) Restaurant employees do not have frequent hour changes.
2) Thus, sit-down eateries do not open early.

NOTE: So, the only reason to eat breakfast is to get into the park early?

Yes. ;) I love rope drop and getting in the park before it opens. I have an 8:10 in TH this August and the park does not open until 9:00. I am looking forward to getting there early, walking through the park before opening and taking pictures, and I will be done in time to make rope drop. You mean they have food at TH in addition to all this? :lmao: I don't eat much breakfast, but the rest of my crew will enjoy that part, I am sure.:rotfl:

Gloater ;-)

My recommendation would be to consider getting the latest breakfast time on a 7:00 am opening day. If you get there at rope drop, that would still give you 3 1/2 hours of park time before Breakfast if you ate at 10:30. I would imagine that would be perfect. I am pretty sure that's what I will be doing when I go for Thanksgiving.

I opted for 10 am breakfast times on EMH mornings. We should be able to get a good amount done before the break. Plus I did character meals so that is an attraction in itself.

Don't want to throw a wrench into the machine; but last time we did TH for breakfast, they had the park roped off and CM's standing throughout to make sure you followed a certain path to TH. Of course this was back in 2010. Could've changed by now, but just giving you a heads up in case it hasn't.

Also, DW just reminded just an FYI; don't know if TH is one of the restaurants now requiring a credit card to make ADR's. If they do and you don't show up, they will charge you credit card for not canceling ahead of time and not showing up.

Just checked, TH does require you to put a credit card on file to make an ADR.

I liked the idea of getting in the park before it opened and getting some pics with nobody around on the way to the restaurant.

Did not mean to be rude. :flower3:

Have you looked into Crystal Palace before MK opens or Akershus before Epcot opens? There is also H&V before Hollywood Studios opens. I have done Crystal Palace before park opening and it is nice. I have never done TH before opening so that will be new.
