OK, so I'm getting out the Christmas stuff. One of my (numerous) Christmas plush toys is a Stitch wearing a reindeer outfit. When you press his paw it plays Jingle Bells, and his nose flashes red on and off. THE DARNED BATTERY IS DEAD!!! I have no Idea how old it is (likely 8-10 years) and the tag on it says "batter not replaceable". I have Googled it but so far have not come up with ANY musical Stitch toys.
Anyone have a suggestion as to where I can find a replacement? It's just not Christmas without reindeer Stitch!

Not in a reindeer outfit, but:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MUSICAL-Plu...053855?hash=item4af4c3d1df:g:qioAAOSwkZhWTQaF

However there's also this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Disney...142420?hash=item2a5c898394:g:5v4AAOSwt6ZWVEm-

Listing says the "nose doesn't flash anymore" so it's probably in the same boat as yours.

I second just seeing if you can open one of the seams and find that pesky battery to confirm whether it can be replaced. I'm thinking it was marked "battery non-replaceable" because it's inside the toy and not easily accessible.

Yes!!! The second listing is "my" Stitch with the fuzzy reindeer suit! I guess all the darned batteries are dead by now.....but thanks so much for the search!

I've done this bunches of times with "not replaceable" batteries.
I just can't figure out just where the battery is located! I can't feel any battery compartment when I squeeze it all over. Maybe it is in the paw where the switch is.....I guess it's worth an attempt at surgery!

You'd just need to open up and see. Some of these things have the battery glued in or using something that's difficult to take apart. There might be wires. Another worry is if the dead battery leaked. I've had stuff that was totally gone once the battery leaked.

I have that one. It doesn't light up or sing.

Wow! I've been collecting Lilo & Stitch stuff (esp plushies) consistently since 2002. I have NEVER seen this one before. Now I want one!

I know, SailorStitch! The fuzzy reindeer suit is adorable! It's one of my favorites...right after "talking Stitch". (HE got new batteries today :) )

This battery is very well hidden!

You mean Aloha Stitch? The plush Stitch that talks back to you. BEST STITCH EVER!!!!!

I don't know if he's an "Aloha" Stitch. He DOES say that, as well as "Ohana means family and family....", "whatever", and he snores. I also have a Stitch wearing a hula skirt that plays the L&S theme song and dances a hula! I admit, I'm a retired old woman who loves her Stitch toys!

Yes, that's the one! He talks back when you say key phrases to him.
