Does this sound right.. About September trip.. Uh oh!!

The CM I had recently had never been to Disney herself and wasn't able to help me with some things. I called back and got someone else who helped me.

Just wondering how you made out OP.......

I did call back and was able to book CSR for the 14th ... So there were definitely rooms available. However.. I did have to switch to a preferred room. I asked what I got for the extra money in my preferred room and she wasn't able to tell me. Lol

She read the description of my old standard room reservation and then the new "preferred" room and it was the same exact thing.. Haha. I have to admit I got a little chuckle at how awkward it was when she couldn't tell me exactly what I was paying the extra few hundred bucks for. Bless her heart, she really tried. Finally, it was determined these rooms are in a better location on property but are the exact same room type.

Anyway, a night was added and I'm happy even with the bigger price tag so, now the countdown begins. Hey, Our room is going to be closer to stuff on property now so no complaints.

Poor child, I love your bless her heart, you must be southern. Preferred rooms generally are closer to buses or the lobby/food or might have a little better view (i.e. you aren't looking at the parking lot). I've found most times it isn't worth the money to upgrade but since it seems like you didn't have a choice I'm glad you were able to get something.

haven't read all of the responses but the issue may be just trying to add one night. sometimes hotels won't allow a booking for 1 night, but if you look for 2-3 nights then it will magically open up. I have no idea why they do this, but its a pretty common occurrence.
